2017 Gift Ideas for the Camper

December 15, 2017

Colton and I spent a ton of time in Maeve the Westy (our 1978 VW Westfalia camper van) this summer for our #VanLife adventure. I like to think I became somewhat of an expert camper during our almost three weeks on the road. This year, I wanted to share gift ideas for the campers in your life. Here are 10 products that eithe made our trip easier or we wish we would have had.

Under $20

1. This I Was Here Travel Journal is the perfect companion for any long road trip. Use it to record your favorite moments from your trip.

2. When you’re camping or living out of a van, you don’t always have a shower available. These DUDE Shower Wipes are large, thick, and help you to feel refreshed after a long day of camping. They fit perfect in a stocking.

3. Not only does this GEERTOP Tent Accessory Kit come with a hand broom, but it includes guide lines, a 16 in 1 hammer tool, and much more.

Under $40

4. A Bottle Keeper keeps your beer, Topo, and other bottled drinks cold while protecting the glass from breaking. Take this on a hike, or just sit out by the campsite.

5. Making coffee on  the road isn’t always easy, but with the Espro Travel Coffee Press, your camping friend can enjoy French pressed coffee while camping. This single-serving travel coffee press is perfect.

6. Cooking over a fire is great, but Colton and I love our Coleman Classic Propane Stove. It’s compact, so it is the perfect travel companion.

7. Every avid camper needs a portable hammock to set up wherever. Colton and I use ours on every trip. It’s perfect for stopping for a quick break on a long hike.

8. When we set up our screen house, we always get a ton of compliments on it. This sturdy canopy is the perfect camping companion. It keeps the bugs out and keeps all your camping gear contained. Your camping friend will appreciate the shade it provides too.

9. The Wonderbag is a portable slowcooker that is perfect for every camper. Eating on the road doesn’t have to be boring, and the Wonderbag can expand your usual campside menu.

10. One of the things I wish we had in our camper was a Rinse Kit Portable Sprayer. It makes showering while camping a breeze.
