I started my Trader Joe’s favorites series last year to share not only my love for Trader Joe’s, but to bring attention to some products that make my month better. Many of their items rotate out seasonally, so each month I choose new and old favorites to check out. Since I spend so much time at my Trader Joe’s, I am always trying the new things they bring out.
Wine country chicken salad
Warning: this chicken salad is addicting. It contains chicken, pecans, poppy seeds, cranberries, and celery. You will love how chunky it is, and the cranberries give it a hint of sweetness. Whether you want to eat it on a sandwich, with crackers, or straight from the bowl, you will not be able to stop.
Pink grapefruit marmalade
I love how Trader Joe’s rotates out it’s jams and marmalades with the season. The pink grapefruit is a new favorite because it is just as citrusy as it is sweet. Add this to a sandwich with your favorite nut butter, pour it over cream cheese, or serve it as a complement to a cheese board like I did.
The complete cookie
Trader Joe’s now carries Lenny & Larry’s complete protein cookies. Why eat a dull protein bar when you can eat a cookie post workout? They taste just like a freshly baked cookie but contain no eggs, dairy, soy, or GMO.
Wine in a can that actually tastes good? That is what you get with simpler wines. Trader Joe’s carries Italian sparkling wine and rose, so grab your favorite or stock up on both. They make them easy to carry around for your next picnic, party, or adventure. Plus, they are pretty, so they will brighten up any event. Want to know the best part? You can get this 4 pack for only $3.99.
Grapefruit ginger sugar scrub
Is winter drying out your skin? It’s made mine dry and flaky lately. This sugar scrub not only helps remove dead skin, but it leaves it feeling soft and refreshed afterwards. Plus, the grapefruit and ginger combination smell incredibly and remind me of spring.
