We are just a few days away from April and it is warming up here in Dallas. This month, I found several outdoor events to help you celebrate the spring weather. Here are some of the must attend events in Plano and the surrounding area this month. Don’t forget, if you know of a cool event that should be listed contact me.
Brawl and Brews
Join me, The Barre Code Plano and The Barre Code Design District at the Texas Ale Project for Brawl and Brews on April 1, from 12pm-2pm. Check out a previous Brawl and Brews event here. There are a few spots left, so sign up now to grab your spot. Your $20 (or $15 if you are an autopay member) covers your 50 minute class, a pint of beer and a brewery tour.
Earth-Kind Garden Party
On Saturday April 8, grab your family and head to Whole Foods Market in Plano for a garden party, presented by Collin County Master Gardeners. During this free event, you will learn about composting, growing culinary herbs, and more! The event will be held from 11am- 3pm. Read more about the event here.
Art + Wine Walk
It’s back!! The Downtown Plano Art & Wine Walk hosted by Plano Magazine is back and you will not want to miss out on the fun this year. Grab your glass and hit up all of the fun shops and art galleries in downtown Plano on Thursday, April 13 from 5-9:15pm. Sampling several wines, winning giveaways and receiving discounts are just three of the reasons the Art & Wine Walk is a must attend event! TNSR Spring Social Run
Also on Thursday, April 13, Thursday Night Social Run (TSNR) and Tri Shop will be hosting their 2017 spring social run. This event is free and food and drinks will be provided after the run. Run will begin at Tri Shop in Plano at 7pm. You will have the opportunity to win prizes from several health and fitness vendors in the area. RSVP for the event here.
Deep Eddy Cocktail Dinner
This month, Urbanrio is hosting a Deep Eddy Cocktail dinner on April 18 at 6:30 pm. Enjoy 5 craft cocktails and 5 delicious courses. Check out my recap on a previous dinner and register for your spot here.
Ride for a Reason
If you have been wanting to try out a cycle class, but haven’t had the motivation yet, why not do it for charity? Ride for a Reason will take place on April 22 at Lifetime Plano from 8am-12pm. Take turns during a 4-hour indoor cycle ride and raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Life Time Foundation. Register your team here.
Fit and Funky Live
Lorna Jane Preston Park is hosting a Fit & Funky workout at 10m on April 22. Best part? If you have a child, bring them along for a free Yo Play kids yoga workout. This free event will be great for you and your kids.
It is o-fish-aly crawfish season, so head on over to TUPPS Brewery on April 23 and grab a plate. Get your ticket online (2 options available) and enjoy food, beer, and live music. Come anytime between 12-6pm.
Los Vinos De Chile Wine Dinner
Every Saturday in April and May join CityLine in Richardson for FREE yoga from 9:00-10:00 am. Bring a water bottle and your own mat and enjoy.
Dinner and music at CityLine
Begining April 20 through May 27th, enjoy live music while you grab dinner at your favorite CityLine restaurant patio (including Fernando’s Mexican Cuisine, Good Union Urban BBQ, and Tricky Fish) Thursdays-Saturdays 6-9pm. You can also grab dinner to go (from Coal Vines, Edoko Sushi & Robata, Tom+Chee, Jasper’s and Nestle Toll House Cafe) and eat on the lawn.
