This month, I spent a lot of time in the freezer section since we were working on selling the house. I haven’t had as much time as I would like to cook dinners and be productive in the kitchen, so Trader Joe’s has saved me. Here are some of my favorite things from this month.
Reduced guilt baked ziti
When I am running late in the mornings (because an extra 10 minutes in bed sometimes sounds better than packing my lunch), I love having these in my freezer to grab. The whole container is only 320 calories. It’s surprisingly filling, heats up quickly, and tastes great.
Colton has become a huge fan of all the different masalas. Trader Joe’s has several different kinds (vegan, chicken, paneer) and each one of them unique. They all receive Colton’s seal of approval, and are less than $4.
Hatch chile mac & cheese
I am obsessed with mac & cheese, and this hatch chile mac & cheese is my favorite frozen kind. It tastes like good ole’ mac and cheese with a little spicy kick to it. We like to eat it with the spicy turkey sausage, but it’s the perfect side to almost every dish.
Mexican style roasted corn
Elote is one of my favorite sides to get at taco places in Texas. This Mexican style roasted corn with cojita cheese from Trader Joe’s is the perfect satisfaction for my elote cravings. It’s smoky, creamy, crunch, with a hint of spice. My taco Tuesday nights at home are even more fun now!
Liquid dish soap
Trader Joe’s revamped their liquid dish soap and I love the new branding. Unlike their previous soap, the new kind is clear and free of artificial colors and scents. The lavender tea tree is my favorite. One of the best things about Trader Joe’s products (that I have mentioned before) is that they don’t test their products on animals.
