We are midway through April, so it is officially time for me to share my April Trader Joe’s favorites. This month, I noticed several coffee scented/flavored things throughout the store. As always, I am sharing my chocolate pick for the month too.
Coffee body scrub
Trader Joe’s has great beauty products, and every now and then they will make this list. We go through a lot of sugar scrub for Spa Sunday, so this coffee body scrub is an easy refill. It smells like coconut and coffee and is made with all natural ingredients to scrub and moisturize. It retails for $4.99 for an 8 oz. tub, so stock up before they run out.
Cold brew coffee concentrate
Speaking of coffee, Trader Joe’s cold brew is delicious, or so Colton tells me. When he is a in a rush, he doesn’t want to French Press coffee, he grabs a cup of this. Each 32 oz. bottle equals about 12 cups of coffee, since you blend it with water or milk. Pour it over ice cream, make it blended, create a coffee cocktail, or serve it hot. Colton typically adds hot water to it for a quick cup of coffee in the mornings.
This 32 ounce bag of gluten free rolled oats is a lifesaver for me. During the cold months, I make delicious oatmeal bowls (think smoothie bowl but with oatmeal).
Now, I have been obsessively making overnight oats. Earlier this week I shared my current favorite breakfast- chocolate oatmeal cookie overnight oats.
Ridge cut potato chips (salt and pepper)
These ridge cut potato chips are crack. Colton and I can go through one bag in a day. I have never been a fan of the potato chip until these made its way into our home. They are delicious as a side to a burger or sandwich or dipped in any dip (like my spinach pesto dip). The mix of salt and hint of spice make these the perfect potato chip.
Dark chocolate covered powerberries
For my obligatory chocolate favorite, I bring you dark chocolate covered powerberries, another addictive snack favorite. Each piece contains acai, blueberries, cranberries, and pomegranates, then it is coated in dark chocolate. The only negative is that I can eat an entire bag of these in one sitting.
