A couple of weekends ago, I had the honor of attending the Dallas Blogger Brunch‘s 2nd birthday party at Del Frisco’s Grille in Dallas. Brunch is a big deal to us Dallas residents, and my favorite meal of the day. If you are one of the few people in the world who isn’t crazy about brunch, Del Frisco’s Grille is exactly where you need to go. They serve their full menu all day, in addition to their delicious brunch options.
What to order
Previously, I shared some of my favorite menu items from Del Frisco’s Grille. One of the best things about going to brunch with a ton of foodies, is you can order a ton of food and all share. Here are some of of favorite things from brunch.
Deviled eggs are the perfect brunch appetizer. Del Frisco’s Grille’s deviled eggs have a truffle-chive vinaigrette that make it difficult to only eat one.
Colton and I love the cheesesteak eggrolls that come with a swirl of both honey mustard and sweet and spicy chili sauce. They have a bit of spice and a hint of sweet, so they are perfectly balanced.
You will not disappoint your group with the ahi tuna tacos either.
The scrambled egg tacos have smoked bacon, aged cheddar, roasted salsa, honey salsa, and are served on flour tortillas. I was craving savory, so these hit the spot for sure. They are filling, so I even took some home for lunch.
Finally, if you have a sweet tooth, the most beautiful dish is the red velvet Belgian waffle. These taste as pretty as they look and are served with thick cuts of bacon to even out the sweetness.
Finally, if you are a fan of eggs Benedict, order the crab cake Benedict. Between the jumbo crab meat, poached eggs, toasted Focaccia and Cajun lobster sauce, the chefs created a masterpiece.
