Brunch at Bar Stellar

December 5, 2017

Dallas has some incredible new bars and restaurants popping up every week. One of those new places is Bar Stellar off Knox-Henderson, and I finally made my way up there to check it out. Dallas Girl Gang hosted a friendsgiving brunch a few weekends ago, and those of you who follow me on Instagram, you saw some of these delicious plates.

Check out these adorable leaf place cards by Chiara Marie Letters.

The space

Bar Stellar prides themselves on being “Dallas’ most Snapchat and Instagram worthy bar.” They put a lot of thought into the design of the space and it really shows. Even their menus are colorful and Instagram worthy.

It’s hard to take a bad photo in any area of Bar Stellar. They have green booths, fun signs, great wallpaper, and a beautiful dazzling bar. Not to mention, they get great natural light from all the windows and open concept of the bar.

The food + drinks

Bar Stellar has an incredible menu of craft cocktails, and a full bar to make any of your favorites. Since we stopped by for brunch, we enjoyed $10 bottomless mimosas. I can’t wait to head back and try their cocktails.

If sweet breakfasts are your weakness, order the stuffed challah french toast. They top the french toast with plenty of berries, bananas, yogurt cream cheese, and berry compote.

Another great sweet option is the triple stack pancakes. Order them plain or with your choice of topping.

If savory breakfasts are more your thing, try the avocado toast. Select your choice of meat and side to compliment the veggies and goat cheese stacked toast.

The croissant sandwich will fill up even the hungriest person. They layer bacon, eggs, 2 cheeses and tomatoes to make it hearty and delicious.

If you love hashbrowns, you will love the golden skillet. They top hashbrowns with peppers, onions, cheeses, meat and eggs your way.

My favorite on any menu are migas. Bar Stellar does migas right with black beans, crispy tortillas, feta, and more.

A huge thank you to Dallas Girl Gang for organizing our friendsgiving brunch and getting us some awesome gifts, including a new pair of sunglasses from Ester Penn, an adorable boutique next door to Bar Stellar.
