Yesterday, everyone was celebrating National Pi(e) Day, and I was stuffing my face with this bad boy.  For my March Trader Joe’s favorites, I am sharing a dessert recipe that will ruin all other desserts for you. Using just a few ingredients from Trader Joe’s, I have found the perfect dessert that will make every chocolate lover drool.  This giant cookie lover’s brownie will make you the life of any dinner party you bring them to. Now you don’t have to decide between cookies and brownies, you can have both.

If you don’t have a Trader Joe’s near you, I am so sorry. However, you can still make this with your favorite brand’s version.

Ingredients

cookie lover's brownie recipe food blogger North Dallas Blog Blogger Love You More Too Trader Joe's Favorites

Box of TJ’s truffle brownie mix
2 eggs + 1 stick of butter
Package of TJ’s chunky chocolate chip cookie dough
Box of TJ’s Joe-Joe’s cookies
Quart of TJ’s cookie butter ice cream
Jar of TJ’s fudge sauce

1. Preheat oven to 350° and spray a cast iron skillet with coconut oil. 2. Prepare the brownie mix according to the directions (with the eggs and butter) and add 1 Tbl water to make it a little thinner. 3. Spread the cookie dough along the bottom of the skillet and press to cover the entire bottom. 4. Layer the Joe-Joe’s on top of the cookie dough (should be about 19 or so depending on the size of the skillet). 5. Pour the brownie batter over the Joe-Joe’s and spread evenly. 6. Cover with crushed Joe-Joe’s (I use small bits and large pieces for texture). 7. Bake for 35 minutes.  Brownie should still be a little gooey.  8. Let sit for 20 minutes, then add scoops of cookie butter ice cream and fudge.
