Dallas Valentines Date Ideas 2020

February 7, 2020

Dallas is a city full of plenty of date options for Valentines or any day for that matter. There is so much to do, whether you want to go out or stay home. In addition to affordable date night ideas, this year, I am sharing an updated highlight of special events and more to share with your sweetheart. Don’t have a Valentine? Skip to the last suggestion for a single’s night you won’t want to miss.

Dine together

One of my favorite restaurants, Fireside Pies, is offering a date night special at all locations. Beginning tonight, February 7-February 16, treat yourself and your Valentine to an appetizer, salad, pizza and a bottle of wine for only $35 per person.

In addition to the date night special, the Fireside Pies Inwood location is hosting a cocktail pairing dinner. Come in Wednesday, February 12, from 7-9pm and enjoy a three course meal paired with cocktails made from Frankly Organic Vodka for $40 per person.

On Wednesday, Feb. 12, from 7-9 p.m., guests at the neighborhood restaurant can enjoy some of Fireside Pies’ favorite menu items paired with these delicious cocktails featuring Texas-based . This one-of-a-kind cocktail pairing dinner will be served at the Fireside Pies restaurant located at 7709 Inwood Road in Dallas. Guests can enjoy the dinner for just $40 per person. Click here for more information and to grab your tickets.

Be amazed together

Check out an intimate magic show at Checkered Past Winery. Only 45 tickets are available per show, so you get to see everything close up and be a part of the act. Enjoy dinner and drinks while you watch in amazement and laugh at Trigg’s quick wit and humor. Click here for tickets and enter code TellAFriend for 10% off.

Getaway together

Getaway Dallas Cabin

Take an overnight trip to Getaway. It’s only an hour and half drive from Dallas and the perfect romantic spot for unplugging and connecting. Read more about Getaway here, and even grab your own coupon for $25 off.

Explore Downtown Together

Read more about this downtown date idea.

Start off at Klyde Warren Park. In addition to people-watching, you can catch live music, read a book, take a workout class, grab food from a food truck, play a game, have a picnic, or do whatever your heart desires. Enjoy the sunshine and fresh air , and take the opportunity to talk and get to know your date.

Make dinner and watch a movie at home together

Go to your local grocery store and pick up the ingredients to make a pizza at home (dough, sauce, mozzarella cheese, meat, and veggies). Check out my favorite at home pizza recipe here. Open a bottle of wine and have fun making your perfect pizza, then cuddle up to a good movie on Netflix (like Roma which is a Netflix original movie up for Best Picture at the Academy Awards. Don’t forget dessert!

Sweat together

Get your endorphins flowing and catch a workout class together. The couple that sweats together, stays together.  Keep your eyes open for couple’s workout classes at your local studio, or just catch a regular class together.  Often times, the first class is free. Check out my list for FREE February workouts in Dallas.

Grab brunch together

Check out this list of the best brunch spots in Dallas, and plan a Saturday brunch date. Few things are better than conversation over good food and brunch.

Head over to 3Eleven Kitchen & Cocktails in the Dallas West End for a singles party from 10 PM to 2 AM! There will be cocktails, a live DJ  and plenty of time to mingle with all the singles.
