We made it to the end of December and Christmas is just around the corner, 3 days away to be exact. If you have any last minute Christmas shopping or party prepping, Trader Joe’s has some great things out that will make it a breeze. Those of you who have been around a while, know I started a series at the beginning of the year where I share five of my favorite things from Trader Joe’s each month. This month, I have a few seasonal items that you should stock up on, in addition to a couple regulars.
Quatro formaggio scalloped potatoes
These potatoes are delicious on their own and easy to cook. They are the perfect compliment to a steak or chicken. However, I like to use them in my potato soup recipe. Honestly, it’s one of the only foods I am craving that I can actually eat since my oral surgery.
Wintry blend coffee
Colton loves Trader Joe’s coffee. The wintry blend is his new favorite. The addition of the cinnamon and spices make it the perfect winter drink. He’s already gone through two containers of it, and winter isn’t close to over. However, this is seasonal and will go away before you know it, so stock up.
Peppermint hot chocolate
It’s no secret that I love hot cocoa, so I was ecstatic to see Trader Joe’s peppermint hot chocolate. I didn’t even have to add milk to it. This hot chocolate is creamy and smooth, with just the right ratio of chocolate and peppermint. Just the way I like it.
Drink this winter wassail cold or warm it up on the stovetop and add some red wine. It tastes just like Christmas and is the perfect party drink for your holiday parties.
The holiday floral not only makes a great table centerpiece, but it also looks festive on wrapped gifts. Just snip a twig off of the top and use it to spruce up your gift wrap. It contains all of the holiday greenery and holly berries to make it the perfect little Christmas bundle.
