(Photo credit: Danny Mai, Dallas Fitness Ambassadors) It’s been a couple of months since my last Dallas Fitness Ambassador event. My favorite part of being an ambassador is getting to know all of the other gorgeous women in the group. However, my second favorite part is checking out new studios in Dallas. Yesterday was no exception. Several of the Dallas Fitness Ambassadors and I went to Vital Fitness Studio for a crunch and brunch class, followed by brunch at Americano.
Vital Fitness Studio
Vital Fitness Studio is located at the Joule Hotel in downtown Dallas, just across from The Spa. The studio is a 3,600 square foot space located underground with beautiful amenities. Vital started as a yoga studio, but they expanded in October to what it is today. They offer a variety of different class formats with energetic, inspiring and knowledgeable instructors. Our group tried a sample of the rhythm ride and V3 class.
We did a 30-minute version of this high energy class. Jessica led us in a fun, but challenging ride. Honestly, it’s been a while since I have taken a spin class. This class was such a great way to get back in the saddle. We spent some time on and off the seat, dancing to some great music, and sweating a whole lot. I highly recommend this class for first timers and experienced alike.
This class mixes HIIT, strength training, and yoga for an all encompassing workout. I promise you will feel the burn, get your heart rate up, and work on flexibility. Although we were all exhausted from the rhythm ride, Bobby did a great job of encouraging us and keeping us moving. We started with several cardio circuits, then transitioned to some strength moves to target upper and lower body and abs. Finally, we ended with a yoga flow to increase flexibility and lower our heart rates.
This studio has everything from 2 different spin classes to yoga. They offer a variety of strength training and Hiit conditioning classes. It is worth checking out for the locker room amenities alone. I was extremely impressed with the classes, rooms, instructors and amenities. Following our butt-kicking classes, we walked next door to Americano for a delicious brunch. We drank endless mimosas and coffee and ate from our personalized menu.
There is nothing better than a great meal after a tough workout. Americano did not let us down. We started with the house-made Nutella filled doughnuts.
They were warm, gooey and wonderful. I may or may not have had two of these.
Our table had a hard time deciding between the breakfast pizza and the Americano breakfast, so we ordered a pizza for the table and each had our own breakfast plate.
Americano’s breakfast pizza is made with sausage gravy, potatoes, and fresh farm scrambled egg.
The Americano breakfast includes eggs, bacon (or sausage), potatoes, and sourdough toast.
There is not doubt that I will be back here to try more of the wonderful food that Americano offers. They have a variety of menu options and flexible seating to accommodate large and small parties.
Crunch and brunch
Beginning in March 2017, you will have the opportunity to take a crunch and brunch class at Vital. This class will be offered the third Sunday of every month. You will sweat it out with an hour long cycling or group class focused on the core, then you will enjoy brunch at either Americano or CBD Provisions. This is a class you will not want to miss, so be sure to tell your friends. Keep an eye out for more information about the crunch and brunch relaunch.
Thank you Vital Fitness Studio and Americano for having us out. I had a great time and loved every minute of my Sunday.
