This month, I am sharing my favorite Trader Joe’s snacks to munch on during a road trip. If you haven’t already looked at Trader Joe’s for road trip snacks, you are missing out. They have a variety of sweet, salty, or combo treats to mix up your next road trip.
Last weekend, we took a camping trip to Lake Ouachita. We drove about 5 hours each way, so we packed some of our favorite snacks to munch on in the Westy. I love to bounce between sweet and salty snacks, so I loaded up my snack basket to keep us happy during the drive.
These perfect little mini brownie cookies are great for your sweet tooth. They are crispy like a cookie, but they taste like a brownie. I like that they aren’t too sweet, so you can enjoy just one and be satisfied.
Mini heart cookies
Grab a box of these before they go away, because I have a feeling they are seasonal. If you like shortbread cookies covered in dark chocolate, you will love these. The sprinkles on top give it a fun texture too!
Trader Joe’s created their cowboy bark to be the perfect balance of sweet and salty. Each piece contains toffee, salted pretzels, Joe Joe’s cookies, peanuts, and almonds. Honestly, the flavor combination is perfect, and I am not even a fan of pretzels. Colton loves the textures, both creamy and crunchy, in one bite.
Popcorn with herbs and spices
This popcorn with herbs and spices is much better than your average salted popcorn. You’ll taste onion, dill, salt and celery with each handful. Popcorn is one of my favorite snacks because it is low in calories, and this one contains no artificial junk.
CHOMPS beef stick
It isn’t a road trip without a beef stick (or 2…or 10!). CHOMPS beef sticks are made from 100% grass fed beef and are gluten and paleo free. They are the nutritious beef stick and perfect to give you a little boost of energy to get you through long drives. Now, you can grab a handful of these at every Trader Joe’s.
