As you know if you followed on Instagram, I was at Austin City Limits (ACL) all weekend.  I wanted to do something special for my friend that planned the trip, so I created a “Festival Survival Kit.”  Here are some tips for creating your own Festival Survival Kit, and a peek in to what I put in mine.

Festival Survival Kit

The bag

Last time I was in Marshall’s, I snagged a makeup bag with a cute slogan I knew would be perfect.  My friend and I spend the majority of concerts dancing, so “I’ll stop when you do” just made me smile.

For hair

Dry shampoo– Will keep our hair smelling and looking fresh for long outdoor days at the festival.

Bobby pins– To keep hair tamed at all times

Comb– If you have bangs, then you know it is neccesary to have a comb to keep them looking great all day.

For skin

Stick sunscreen– It is always a great idea to have sunscreen to apply during festivals.  The stick kind is easy to keep in your pocket and reapply on your face, neck, and shoulders.

Lip balm– For the same reason I pack sunscreen, I pack lip balm to keep my lips protected and hydrated.  Grab a fun flavor, or color to add some pop to your kit.

For fun

Notebooks– How cute are these?  They are the perfect size for jotting down notes about a favorite band, or best food they had during the festival.

Pens– A notebook isn’t complete without fun, colorful pens to write with!

Earrings– Every festival goer needs a good pair of earrings to rock out in.  These gold tea leaf earrings are from Mad Jewels.

Advil– This is for when your friends party too hard, the music gets to them, or they are achy from standing and dancing too much.

Girlfriend, you are always going to the fun stuff! This kit looks like it was pretty necessary for ACL! haha The only other thing I’d add is some type of body wipe, because being outside makes me feel sticky! Shower Pill is a good one!! I love that you added Advil though! I would never even think to bring that haha.

Haha. Yeah, we have a lot of fun. I agree with your additions for sure.
