Today is the last day of the first week of school with students. Whether you are a teacher, blogger, work from home, or in an office, if you have a desk, this post is for you. Actually, if you have a space where you keep office items that you wish was more organized, this post is for you. For Friday favorites, I am sharing my desk essentials. Not only are these essentials cute, but they are perfect for organization, planning, and will make your life easier.
In no particular order…
Post-it note holder
If your desk is anything like mine, you have a plethora of post it notes. I have a mint camera holder and this Kate Spade set.
A Post-it holder may seem impractical, but they really do help keep sticky pads from disappearing. There are so many adorable Post-it note holders out there to fit every desk style and decor. Here are a few favorites I found:
I hate digging through my desk for pencils and pens! A pen/pencil holder/cup is a necessity for a clean desk. Here are some really cute options, but a mason jar also does the trick!
My favorite pens that I use all of the time (just check my Instagram, and you will see dozens of photos with these pens) are these Paper Mate Flair felt tip pens in assorted colors. They don’t bleed through, are the perfect weight, and keep me organized.
I cannot function without my to do lists in my notebook every day. To be honest, I can, but I don’t like to. You can check out this post for my tips and tricks for making and keeping to do lists to see what I mean. The large spiral notebooks are the best for making to do lists, meal plans, and grocery lists. Check out some of my favorite brands and prints here:
Even though I use a digital calendar, I still write everything down in my paper planner. I am less likely to forget about something when I hand write it. Not to mention, I color code my planner, so it is easy to determine what kind of event or appointment it is.
Cork board tile
These cork board tiles are perfect to hang reminders on, favorite quotes, or photos.
