June is just a couple of days away and everyone is getting their grills warmed up. This month, you have a ton of opportunities to try delicious BBQ, enjoy yoga outside, and participate in a variety of fitness challenges.  Here are several north Dallas food and fitness events you can plan your summer around.

Stretch and Sip

Enjoy an early morning yoga class with Yoga Digest at Legacy West in Plano.  Fabletics is hosting the event, so you can enjoy giveaways, 20% off dicounts, and lastly a mimosa from Mesero following your flow. BYOM (Bring your own mat).

Little Elm Craft Brew and Que

On June 3, head over to Little Elm from 4-9pm for beer sampling, entertainment and family-friendly fun.  Tickets are $25 and include twelve 2 oz. beer samples (BBQ is an additional cost), so grab yours here or pay $35 at the door.

BBQ at Hub Streat

All day Sunday June 4, Sandy Sue’s BBQ will be at Plano’s outdoor dining spot, Hub Streat. Get your fix and enjoy the beautiful patio.

Summer Wine Flight

Visit Coal Vines  at City Line on June 5 for a summer wine and Italian bites pairing.  Your $20 ticket includes a tasting of 8 different wines, bites, and a take home gift.  Claim your spot today.

Craft Beer and Sake Pairing

SPF Challenge Kick-off Event

Join The Barre Code Plano on June 11 from 3:30-6:30 for a fun kickoff to the summer challenge event. Summer Sides Cooking Class

On June 13 from 6-8pm, take a free cooking class at Cutco Kitchen and learn how to make some summer sides.  Register today.

Italian Cooking Class

Must-Dash 5K

On June 17, celebrate dad by running in a 5K that is fun for the whole family. The race takes place at Gatalyn Park in Richardson, so save your spot today.

Barre and Bites Summer Popup

Ongoing events

Summer Acro Series

Every Friday in June through August at 8:15, join Reef Point Yoga in their summer acro series. Special introductory offer for students have haven’t practiced at Reef Point before ($59 for 10 classes or $79 for $20).

Move and Groove

Every Wednesday in June from 6:30-7:30 PM, try free yoga at Watters Creek in Allen.

Barre Code SPF Challenge

The Barre Code challenge takes place on June 12-July 2.  The goal is to take 18 classes in 21 days.  There will be a variety of fun formats, prizes and giveaways, so be sure to stop in and check it out. These challenges are a great way to restart your fitness regimen and encourage you to find your strength, power and refuel. Special challenge pricing is $85 for 3 weeks.
