It’s spring, y’all!!  The weather is warming up and a ton of 5k opportunities are making their way to north Dallas.  Here are some amazing March north Dallas food and fitness events to look forward to including an event I am hosting alongside my husband.

FREE Cyclebar Class with Colton and I

A couple of weeks ago, I shared date night ideas that included working out together.  On Tuesday March 14, I am hosting a FREE Cyclebar class at the new Preston Forest location.  Bring your spouse, friend, sibling or just yourself and you could win a free month of classes. Limited seats left, so reserve your spot here.

Free Barre Code classes

Get your 7:00 AM work out on for FREE over the next two weeks at The Barre Code Plano.  Is there any other way to enjoy your spring break?

Whiskey and beer dinner

Urban Crust is at it again.  Each month they host delicious beer dinners, and this one sounds right up Colton’s alley.  On Monday, March 6, join beer and whiskey lovers from all over the metroplex.  Dinner is $49.90 and includes 5 courses paired with 3 beer tastings from 3 Nations Brewing and 3 whiskey tastings from Herman Marshall Whiskey. Reservations are required, so sign up here to reserve your spot.

Beer and sake pairing dinner

On March 7, Ra Sushi in Plano is hosting a craft beer and sake pairing with a 5-course Asian fusion dinner. RSVP to to reserve your spot by March 3.

Fit and Funky promo class

Join Athleta Frisco on March 9 for a FREE fun cardio, body-weighted Fit & Funky class. Class begins at 7:30. Read more details and register here.

Run of the Irish

Grab your ticket for the March 11th Run of the Irish St. Patrick’s Day celebration at the Shops at Legacy.  This will be a fun 5K that you can bring your kids to. Sign up here.

Title Boxing class

Hangover Brunch

Bartenders choice cocktail dinner

Each month, Urban Rio hosts a cocktail dinner.  Colton and I attended the holiday one in December and had an amazing time.  This month, the dinner is on March 21 and will be the bartenders choice. Reserve your spot here for $39.90.

Firefly run

Last year, I ran the Firefly run, and this year you can.  On March 25, run a 5k illuminated by glow sticks through the Campus at Legacy. Read more and register here.


CityLine Yoga

Every Saturday in March, April, and May join CityLine in Richardson for FREE yoga from 9:00-10:00 am. Bring a water bottle and your own mat and enjoy.

Warrior Wednesday

Each Wednesday in March, Athleta Frisco will be hosting FREE yoga classes with The Mat Yoga Studio. Reserve your spot here.

    It’s so great that Texas has so much to offer. Seems like you would never get bored there. Texas is one state I have yet to visit but it’s ony must do list.

    All of these events sound like a lot of fun! The Firefly Run looks really neat. However, so do all the food and drink events. I guess you can eat/drink and run off the calories later. 🙂

    A terrific selection of events! There really is something for everyone. I was fortunate to go to the South Beach Food and Wine Festival in Miami last week end. So much fun!
