March Trader Joe’s Favorites

March 9, 2018

This month, I made the transition over to a new Trader Joe’s. I was so familiar with the Plano Trader Joe’s that I would make my grocery list step by step how I walk through the store in the exact order I could pick everything up. Often, I would catch myself asking people if they needed help finding something. Now, I feel like I am in a strange universe where everything is a mirror and then moved around. It will take a few weeks to get comfortable with this new one, but I will get it down. Here are some of my favorite things I picked up at my most recent trip to Trader Joe’s.

Bamba peanut snacks

If you have ever wondered what peanut butter air tastes like, this is it. I love cheese puffs and peanut butter, so why not combine them and take away the cheese? These Bamba peanut snacks are made with just four ingredients, so you know exactly what you are putting in to your body. They make the perfect companion to any sandwich, or you can grab a handful for a quick snack out the door.

Organic coconut sesame seed clusters

When you want something crunchy to add to your ice cream or yogurt, organic coconut sesame seed clusters are just the thing. I actually love them straight out of the bag too. They take toasted coconut flakes and sweeten them with coconut sugar and tapioca syrup, then add a little bit of salt. It’s the perfect sweet and salty mix.

Lemon elderflower soda

Trader Joe’s lemon elderflower soda is the perfect summery drink. It’s made with minimal ingredients and only 70 calories a can. If you like bubbly lemonade and elderflower, you will really enjoy this. These sodas make the perfect drink mixer too.

Mango passionfruit juice

Last time I was in Trader Joe’s I sampled this juice and immediately threw it in my cart. I don’t usually drink juice, but this is perfect first thing in the morning with my toast and eggs. Maybe it’s because I am on day 26 of no alcohol, but all I can think of is how great it will taste with champagne.

Shea butter and coconut oil hair mask

Recently, I have started using hair masks to deep condition my hair once a week. Not only does the Trader Joe’s Shea Butter and Coconut Oil Hair Mask smell incredible, it leaves my hair feeling silky smooth. One of the best things about Trader Joe’s beauty products are it’s low prices.

You always have the best list of things for me to try at Trader Joes. I will have to pick up some organic coconut sesame seed clusters the next time I am there.
