Murphy Craft Beer Festival

For all you beer lovers out there, Murphy is hosting its first annual craft beer festival.  Music, beer, and food trucks? It sounds like a Colton dream.

Wildflower Festival

Next weekend, May 20-22, is Richardson’s Wildflower! Festival.  Although this is not a “food” and “fitness” event, it is a fun event featuring the Taste of Texas Food Garden with tons of Texas food vendors.  This event is family-friendly and draws in 65,000 people annually.  It has grown this year to include six performance stages.  Click here for ticket information and pricing.

    • Jessica May 13, 2016 at 12:41 pm

I love fun yoga events. I don’t get to do yoga as often as I would like, so these events make it easy. 🙂

  • Brittany Giles May 13, 2016 at 12:55 pm

  • Denay DeGuzman May 14, 2016 at 12:26 pm

If I lived in the area I would love to attend The Wildflower Festival. That sounds like so much fun! It’s so great to see some of the wonderful activities happening in other communities. 🙂

    • Jessica May 15, 2016 at 9:39 am

It is always a good time. Some years the bands are better than others, but the food and artists are always great!

  • Ashley LaMar May 15, 2016 at 3:40 pm

The Wildflower Art & Music festival sounds like fun. There are a lot of events just like that here in Atlanta and I love to go to them. So fun and such a great way to enjoy being outdoors in the spring/summer heat.

    • Jessica May 15, 2016 at 9:36 pm

Yes!! Exactly. It ends up getting way too hot here for most of the outdoor stuff, but the earl mornings/late evenings are perfect. 🙂

  • Rebecca Hicks May 16, 2016 at 5:14 pm

These look like so much fun! I’d love to go to the Wildflower Festival… Too bad I’ll be busy all weekend! And I’ll see you at the Bridge 🙂

    • Jessica May 16, 2016 at 9:09 pm

I can’t wait to barre on the bridge with you!
