November Favorites

November 30, 2018

Oh, fall, how I love thee. I seriously cannot get enough of the dark nights, cooler weather, beautiful trees, and delicious food. November has been full of wonderful memories, and I cannot wait to see how the year will end with December. Here are a few of my favorite things from this month.

Favorite protein snack

Recently I discovered Health Lab and their line of healthy snacks. They carry all kinds of balls for beauty, health, and more. My current favorite is the choc brownie protein ball. It’s packed with protein and contains honest ingredients that boost mood and lowers stress. Plus, they are delicious!

Favorite date idea

One of my favorite date ideas is exploring downtown. Check out my tips for a downtown date. December is a perfect time to plan a romantic downtown date because there are so many things happening leading up to the holidays.

Favorite beauty find

I have been so spoiled lately with Mistified Beauty. Imagine this, you need to leave for a trip, want a tan, but don’t have enough time to run to a salon. Enter Mistified Beauty. Not only do they do mobile spray tanning in your house, but they offer facials and other services too. So far, I have gotten spray tanned, an anti-aging facial, and brow/eyelash tint all in the comfort of my home.

Favorite happy hour

Last week I shared some of my favorite food items from Public School 214’s menu. There are a ton of food and drink specials you do not want to miss. Happy hour specials are my new favorite thing to find and share, so be on the lookout each month for my newest favorite.

Favorite quick lunch

At work, I am always looking for healthy freezer meals that I can heat up quickly. However, I don’t want taste to be compromised.¬†Sweet Earth¬†quesadillas are perfect because they heat up deliciously in the microwave and are loaded with vegetables. They have an entire line of products, but the quesadillas are my favorite. One quesadilla is the perfect snack and two make a great meal.

Gratitude

  1. Instead of a traditional Thanksgiving, Adam and I took an amazing cruise. I can’t wait to share with you some of the highlights.
  2. The Tax Ratification passed for my district, so I get a raise this year!
  3. Talking with my students about empathy and listening to their responses to one another.
  4.  Sharing my favorite brunch with Adam.
  5. Successful college fair and career day at my school.
