The temperatures outside are finally dropping, so more fitness events are moving outside.   There are several great north Dallas food and fitness events I am excited about and cannot wait for this month.

Be sure to check back periodically as I update this page as more events are announced.

Join north Dallas’ largest cultural event on October 1 at Haggard Park.  The festival is 11:00am-5:00pm, but the Yoga Fest will be from 1:00-4:30pm.  Check out and learn more about AcroYoga, Slack Line demos, Kids’ Yoga, Stiff Guy Yoga and more.

Check out the schedule and register here for free! Admission and parking are free. For more information about the Plano International Festival click here.

Mystery Dine Around Shops at Legacy

One of my favorite fun night ideas are progressive dinners.  On October 10, the Greater Dallas Restaurant Association is hosting a mystery progressive dinner at the Shops at Legacy.  You will start off at the announced location at 6:00pm for drinks and hors d’oeuvres.  Once you arrive, you will find out where your mystery dinner location will be and walk there as a group.  Then, the group will gather at another mystery location for dessert and a nightcap.  The $95 ticket includes two drinks, dinner, hors d’oeuvres, and dessert.  Grab your ticket here.

Free cooking class

On October 11 from 6:00-8:00pm, join Cutco Kitchen for a free soup, stew, and chili cooking class. Complimentary wine and appetizers will also be served.  Register for free here!

Plano Wine Walk

This month the Plano Wine Walk will be on October 13 from 5:00-9:00pm.  The weather is finally amazing, so this event is a must-see for all north Dallas residents.  Grab your ticket here and check out why this is a must-see!

Martin House Beer Dinner

Who wouldn’t want to have a 5-course Taverna Rossa dinner paired with Martin House beer?  Check out details on this event and register for your spot on October 19, from 6:00-9:00pm.
