I have really dropped the ball on my #fivefactsfri I have really dropped the ball on my #fivefactsfriday since May, but I’m back! It’s the first Friday of September, and I’m here to share five fun facts you may or may not know about me. 1- I love love love fall. If you know me, you know I’m a cold weather girl at heart and would give anything for a snow day, but crisp fall days are the best. I can’t wait for the leaves to change colors, all the cute layers and BOOTS. 2- Pumpkin spice everything but lattes are my jam. I love the pumpkin explosion at @traderjoes but don’t drink coffee so lattes are out. 3- Since J and I started dating, I learned I am super bad at new slang. It’s embarrassing. Like, I have no idea what most of the words/phrases mean. 🤷🏼‍♀️ 4- I’ve been friends with my 2 best friends since middle school. That’s 20 years of friendship, y’all. (Love you @latoeverywhere and @heathervstheworld ) 5- I tried dating apps for the first time ever at 33 and wrote a post about it. (Link in profile) What’s a fact about you? This rain is making me want to have another eat a This rain is making me want to have another eat a dozen @thesaltydonut in bed and watch Netflix. I say another because that totally happened on Sunday. Also, I just found out that they released NEW flavors, including flan, so it looks like I’ll be back very soon. #thesaltydonut
Sometimes your body just needs extra sleep. I woke Sometimes your body just needs extra sleep. I woke up at 5:40 to ride my bike before work, and my body said “nope. More sleep please.” Looks like I’ll be riding after work today. Also, yes, I got a new @nordictrack bike that I can actually ride. Despite being in the middle of a pandemic, virtual Despite being in the middle of a pandemic, virtual school, and other world craziness...August has been a joyful month for me. I’ve been very intentional about gratitude, enjoying spending time with J, seeing friends, having a career I love and a building to go to. I’m really digging the last half of 2020 and choosing to live each day as it comes. How are you feeling?
