We are in October, so it is officially “pumpkin spice everything” season. It wasn’t until much later in life that I really grew to appreciate pumpkin, and I am glad I did. I have been filling up on pumpkin muffins, chips, dips and more. Since I am a huge fan of smoothie bowls, I decided to try and make a fun pumpkin spice smoothie bowl to get in to the season of fall. This is my new go-to breakfast bowl this month. It is delicious, and it tastes like dessert.
1 Scoop vanilla protein powder
1/2 C. Pumpkin spice almond milk
1/4 C. Pumpkin puree
1/2 Frozen banana
4 Ice cubes
1 tsp. Unsweetened coconut flakes
Sprinkle of raisins
2 Tbl. Pumpkin seeds
1 Tbl. Almonds
Dash of cinnamon
1. Add all of the ingredients to a blender and mix. 2. Pour into a bowl and top with your favorite toppings.
Add some fall to your mornings, and mix up this delicious pumpkin spice smoothie bowl.
