September is more than half-way through, so it seems appropriate to share the things I cannot get enough of at Trader Joe’s this month. I think you will find something on this list for everyone, but check it out for yourself.
Sparkling coconut water with yuzu
I usually prefer zero calorie sparkling waters, but this sparkling coconut water with yuzu is perfect to beat these 90 degree Septembers. The flavor is sweet, but not too sweet, and each can is only 60 calories. They are small, so they can fit in a lunch box and make the perfect refreshing drink.
Chipotle vegetable quesadillas
I really enjoy meatless Mondays, although I don’t always participate. However, these chipotle vegetable quesadillas make it much easier. They are filling, smoky, and delicious. I like making them in the oven because they get the crispy edge to them, but they also heat up in the microwave. This makes them an easy work lunch.
Pulled chicken breast
Trader Joe’s carries pulled chicken and pulled pork in a smoky bbq sauce. I love to eat mine on an open faced sourdough sandwich, but they have a killer nachos recipe online you should check out too. It’s easy to heat up in the microwave, and it makes a great appetizer with pita crackers and coleslaw.
Peanut butter roundels
These peanut butter roundels are one of the most addictive things I have ever eaten. I opened the container and ate the whole first sleeve in under 5 minutes. If you like peanut butter and chocolate combined, you will absolutely love these.
Apple cider scent soap
I am obsessed with Trader Joe’s foam soap, but the new apple cider scent is perfect for the fall and winter. Just one sniff of it takes me to cooler weather and holiday season. Stock up on this because you are going to want it to last you a long time.
