Happy fall, y’all. It’s my favorite time of the year, and I cannot wait for the temperatures to drop, leaves to turn, and pumpkins to take over. Although the pumpkin spice is out in full force, I want to save that for next month’s post. This month, I want to share some of my new and old favorite finds.
Cauliflower cheese pizza
It’s no secret that I love pizza. Cauliflower pizza crust is all the rage, and is much better for your waistline. This frozen gluten free number comes with the cheese, all you have to do is add your favorite toppings, or eat it as is. I like mine with some basil, pepperoni, a honey drizzle, and crushed red pepper.
Chili lime seasoning
This chili lime seasoning has completely changed fruit for me. It’s perfect sprinkled on watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple and more. I have also used it to season chicken and veggies for dinner.
Apple cider jam
I saw this apple cider jam the other day and had to try it. Not only is this a great companion to peanut butter on a sandwich, but it goes surprisingly well with a cheese platter. The flavor immediately takes you to your favorite fall day. I promise you have to try this.
The last few times I have gone in to Trader Joe’s, I have spent a lot of time searching the beverage section. As much as I love water, I like mixing it up so I stay hydrated. They carry agua fresca that comes in three flavors- Pineapple mango with natural mint, hibiscus, and strawberry lime. All of them make great mixers or are delicious by themselves.
I am now one of those girls that drink kombucha every day. Call me “basic”, but I don’t care. Trader Joe’s carries a variety of flavors and brands, but my current favorite is the cayennade. It has a bit of a kick to it, so it’s a wonderful pick me up in the morning.
I don’t have a token chocolate recommendation for you this month, however I think you will be happy with the five things I shared. Come back next month for my pumpkin spice edition, and don’t forget to check out my previous Trader Joe’s Favorites posts.
