What does your goal check-in look like? How are you doing with your goals so far?

  • Dia All The Things I Do June 27, 2016 at 10:25 am

It seems like you are kicking butt at your goals this year so far. I really am trying to step back up my fitness goals. I’ve been doing pretty well on my blogging goals. I did my half way mark check in about a month ago. It’s so smart to take a minute and see how you are doing. Just check in with the miss. Good luck on the second half.

    • Jessica June 27, 2016 at 6:26 pm

Awh, thanks Dia! I am working on it for sure.

It is so hard to continue with goals without checking in. You’ve got this! 🙂 Good luck on your second half too!

Thank you Lee Anne! I do what I can. I feel like publicly calling myself out might help me check off some more. 😉

  • kerona June 27, 2016 at 11:32 am

Your progress so far is good, keep up the good work and keep holding yourself accountable, i have been knocking mine down too a little by little

    • Jessica June 27, 2016 at 6:27 pm

Thank you! Way to go on knocking yours out too. 🙂

  • Rachael June 27, 2016 at 11:32 am

First of all, can I say that I just LOVE the fact that you divide up your goals by catagory. I never do that but now I will because I can see it helps you set more goals, and also helps your mind organize them. I also LOVE that you realize you can’t run a marathon, but were willing to adapt that goal into a new goal of possibly doing a half. I think adaptability is absolutely vital to success.

    • Jessica June 27, 2016 at 6:28 pm

Thank you so much, Rachael. That means a lot to me. I am an organizational freak, so it just made sense to me to divide them up.

  • scarlett June 27, 2016 at 3:47 pm

Great way to set goals.. blog about it!! Love this! Good luck! XO

    • Jessica June 27, 2016 at 6:28 pm

Is it just me or does it seem like February was just a few weeks ago? Congrats on making it so far with quite a few of your goals!

  • Patricia @ Grab a Plate June 27, 2016 at 9:53 pm

Some great goals! I’m with you on the meal prep — I really need to do this!! Thanks!

  • Chelsea June 28, 2016 at 6:44 am

Ahh! Sounds like you are ROCKING your fitness goals!!! I did a goal post for 2016 in January; this has inspired me to do a goal check up as well!!! P.S. I am working on my push ups as well!

  • Katie June 28, 2016 at 8:16 am

It sounds like you’re doing GREAT with your goals and the year isn’t even half over yet, congrats, girl!!! If you want to try some new workouts, try the Tone It Up workouts. I’ve done them in the past but have really gotten into the workouts with their Bikini & Summer series and I’m getting my booty kicked, it’s awesome! (And they have free versions!)

  • Aubrey June 28, 2016 at 8:30 am

It sounds like you’re really rocking your goals this year. So many accomplished and we’re not even halfway through 2016. Too bad about the marathon, but you can’t injure yourself further.

  • Shann June 28, 2016 at 8:33 am

I love how you broke up your goal list. Sounds like you’ve made some great progress! Have a wonderful trip to Greece! Can’t wait to hear all about it.

  • Ashley LaMar June 28, 2016 at 9:37 am

Go you!!!! It sounds like you’re having an amazing year. Good luck w/ that half marathon and it’s smart that you’re giving your ankle time to recover instead of pushing for a full marathon if you’re not ready. Also, I’m seriously envious about your trip to Greece. That’s my dream vacation! One day I’ll get over there…

  • Denay DeGuzman June 28, 2016 at 11:04 am

I love that you made a firm list of goals and are checking each off the list one by one. I think when you see your goals in writing they become more than a random collection of ideas. They become something concrete. There is still enough time in 2016 to get all of your goal boxes checked. You can do it!

  • Nellwyn June 28, 2016 at 11:29 am

Congrats on accomplishing so many of your goals! And Have fun in Greece! I’d love to go there one day.

  • Neely (@Neelykins) June 28, 2016 at 4:56 pm

People just dont get how difficult 3 lb weights are at barre! I remember telling my husband I used 2 lbs and he laughed at me. Rude!

  • Jessica June 28, 2016 at 8:08 pm

Great progress and I am loving all of the healthy recipes!!

  • alexandra @ my urban family June 28, 2016 at 9:24 pm
