My spring break was…rainy. On Monday, I posted my spring break to do list.  If I am being honest, I did great on some and terrible on others. Here is a recap of my goals and how I did.

  • Stretch/yoga at least three times– I did one stretch class this week. This is a goal I want to carry over and actually do.
  • Take the dogs for a walk on the days it doesn’t rain- it rained every day this week (except Saturday and we were busy shooting engagement photos)

  • Avoid sweets– aka eat all the sweets I can get my hands on.
  • Try a new recipe- check Tuesday night I made a new kind of Monterey chicken

  • Master closet-check

  • Kitchen- check
  • School stuff– I plan on doing this tonight
  • Makeup/my side of master bath-check

  • Write up the next 2 weeks of blog posts– this was way too big of a goal. Haha.
  • Plan out the next month of blog posts- check
  • Update about me section-a couple of updates. Not finished with it yet.
  • Learn more about Google Analytics

  • Journal every day
  • Quiet time every day
  • Plan our summer trip/vacation- we started talking about it, but no official plans. I am very excited about what we are talking about though…

I took 12 fitness classes. Today, I will take an active rest day and get everything ready for this week. Those of you who just started spring break… What’s on your to do list this week?

Those of you who had it last week…what did you do? Comment below and share.

Nice. I haven’t been to the gym in 2 weeks. First, we went out of town, then I got sick and pulled a back muscle. My back is still sore, but I’m going tomorrow no matter what. The barre classes sounds awesome. Great job on your closet too!

Barre is so much fun. A lot of hard work and challenging, but a blast. Glad you are getting back in it. Don’t push yourself too hard. 😉

Such a fun list and seems like you are off to a great start, I mean look at that well-organized-closet! Cannot wait to hear what you have got planned for summer. Having just returned from a 2 week vacation, my plan is to get through all the pending tasks in the next week, its a loooot of work, sigh!

I love vacations, but coming home to reality and all of the tasks waiting for you is the worst. Summers are the time I really start organizing and kicking things into gear. 😉 Thanks for stopping in!

Looks like you did a really good job on your goals. Looks like you had a lot of fun in your fitness class. I have heard of that but have not tried that yet (a little scared, honestly). Good luck on your next goals.

I love my barre classes. The fly classes were difficult for me, but a lot of fun and sweat. Thanks, girlie!

hey fellow dallasite ! i love this post how you shared the reality of what actually happened! i’ve been more focused on running lately but definitely want to get back into barre classes soon. is the barre code your favorite studio ??

    • Jessica March 14, 2016 at 10:24 am

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by. Barre code is by far my favorite. I love the message behind the “code”, how the classes are formatted, and the variety offered. It is also the closest to my house, so I am super lucky. You should come check it out sometime.
