Spring Break To Do List

March 7, 2016
love you more too north dallas blogger plano lifestyle blogger foodie spring break to do list

One of the biggest perks in being a counselor in a school are the breaks.  Spring break is actually one of my favorites because it breaks up the time between Christmas and summer break.  This year, I made a spring break to do list to hold myself accountable. Without further ado…my spring break to do list:

Fitness

  • Try a new group class
  • Load up on Gym & Juice week classes at The Barre Code Plano (more on that in tomorrow’s post)
  • Stretch/yoga at least three times
  • Take the dogs for a walk on the days it doesn’t rain

Food

  • Avoid sweets
  • Try a new recipe

Organize

  • Master closet
  • Kitchen
  • School stuff
  • Makeup/my side of master bath

Blog

  • Write up the next 2 weeks of blog posts
  • Plan out the next month of blog posts
  • Update about me section
  • Learn more about Google Analytics

Personal

  • Journal every day
  • Quiet time every day
  • Plan our summer trip/vacation

At at the end of the week, I will post a follow up to share the areas I did well in (and where I could have used more motivation).

Happy spring break to all the fellow educators out there! I hope you find rest and relaxation.

What’s on your to do list this week? Comment below and share.

I love organizing everything, but I think the closet is my favorite. It’s always funny what I forget I have. Thanks, dear!

I just started SB today and so far I’ve just taken a 3.5 hour nap and watched Netflix – haha! I should make this to do list though. Thanks for the inspiration!

    • Jessica March 7, 2016 at 9:00 pm

I watched a bit of Netflix myself. 😉 That is part of the rest and relaxation. haha.

  • Cara March 7, 2016 at 7:06 pm

    • Jessica March 7, 2016 at 9:00 pm

Thanks, girl! It is definitely a huge perk of the job and mostly well deserved. Education is hard. 😉

  • Britany @definefettle March 7, 2016 at 8:15 pm

I’m insanely jealous of those who work in the school systems because of the wonderful vacation time they get {both on holidays + summertime}. I could REALLY use an entire week {or summer} to get my blog a little bit ahead so I wouldn’t have to scramble to create posts on time. Have so much fun, enjoy your time off:)

    • Jessica March 7, 2016 at 9:01 pm

Thank you so much! Education is hard work and these breaks are well deserved. That being said, they are wonderful and I am super grateful for them. 🙂
